Vintage Woven and Embroidered Romanian Skirt, 3 metres of fabric

Absolutely beautiful vintage Romanian wool skirt from the 1840s-1960s. Woven with embroidery. The skirt is wrap round and is open at both ends, it would have been worn with a decorative apron. Velvet trim on three sides. It is basically a length of fabric gathered with a string at the waist. It opens up to be 309 cm, 71 cm long
